As an avid outdoorsman, Julianne is not only passionate about the sport of hunting, she is a steadfast advocate for wildlife conservation, hunter’s rights and education. The opportunity to help shape the landscape of hunting and its importance to the sustainability of our hunting heritage is a privilege she relishes.
Julianne is a Life Member of Houston Safari Club Foundation. She was appointed to the HSCF Board of Directors in 2006 as a Director. She continued to serve the next seven years, through June 2013 as a Director (two terms), Treasurer, President-elect, President and Immediate Past President. Julianne served as the fourth female president in the club’s history.
Julianne currently serves on three of HSCF’s most important committees: Grants, Finance, and Gazelles. She has spent the past 13 years on various committees related to HSCF’s annual convention and expo including: Banquet and Decorations (Chairman); Silent Auction (Co-chair twice and Committee member); and 2008 and 2018 Convention Co-chair.
As a member of numerous committees, Julianne has worked diligently to secure donations for many of our live and silent auctions, procure sponsorships for many of HSCF’s fundraising programs and helped attract attendees and buyers for the club’s convention activities and auctions.
Julianne is a full-time mom and interior designer. She lives in Magnolia, Texas, with her husband Mark King (Past President and Treasurer) and their two children Grayson and Sutton.
